Enjoy Argyle's history.
The quaint town of Argyle was founded while continuing the Great Northern Railway from Crookston to the Canada-US border in the late 1870s. The early settlement includes many French-Canadians. The railway also brought immigrants from England, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Scotland and Germany.
Enjoy the farmland.
The flat land of Argyle makes for excellent farming. We love our community of hard-working, self-reliant farmers.
Enjoy the drive.
As neighboring cities get more and more populated, Argyle's quiet streets become more and more appealing. Argyle is less than an hour's drive from Grand Forks, Crookston and Thief River Falls.
